The Sacred Power of Crying: Emotional Cleansing as a Spiritual Awakening

Over time, I have come to realize that crying is not a weakness.  It is a sacred act, a spontaneous signal saying, that I am connecting with Source, God, my Higher Self. (All these words mean the same thing.) I always cry unexpectedly during the day when I need encouragement.

It can arise during:

  • Energy spinning or calm meditative stillness

  • Raising my vibration through breathwork, Tai Chi, or Qi Gong

  • Performing my own flowing movements or receiving Thai-Swedish massage around the energy centers

  • Visualizing ethereal circuits and energy flows

  • Eye-gazing into the awakened soul of another

  • Holding hands or being near loving, awakened people; especially beautiful, kind women, and light beings

  • Being immersed in nature or feeling the flow of fresh air across my skin, feet, and face

  • Running energy into my Dan Tian, or up and down the spine through the circuits I have created

  • Feeling the presence of star beings, angels, ancestors, or my soul family

In those moments, the tears simply flow. They are not from sadness—they are from connection.

Crying serves as a powerful spiritual release.  Crying is a cleansing of emotional pain, stress, trauma, or even the awe of touching the divine. It allows the body and soul to let go. It offers relief, clarity, and peace.

I cry more often now and with more ease spontaneously.  Because I’ve touched something deeper within myself. I cry when I am overwhelmed by beauty, grace, and light. I cry when I feel the subtle yet strong energy of spirit guides and celestial family. Sometimes, I cry in stress when I am around discordant energy or during overwhelming human interactions. I have cried during moments when my wife, in her own struggle, becomes demanding.

I have even cried from the power of scent.  One day, I smelled the unmistakable presence of my grandfather. His familiar scent enveloped me and I knew in that moment he was standing beside me. The tears that came were filled with love and recognition.

These are not just physical tears. They are energetic tears. They mark moments when the veil is thin and my soul recognizes home.

As my senses evolve and become gateways to connection. I do not focus on the technical terms that explain psychic or extrasensory abilities, but I honor their presence in my experience. They are part of how I now engage with the subtle worlds.  I am providing below a list of abilities I have or I am developing:

  • Clairvoyance – clear seeing

  • Clairaudience – clear hearing

  • Claircognizance – clear knowing

  • Clairsentience – clear feeling

  • Clairempathy – clear emotional sensing

  • Clairtangency – clear touch

  • Clairsalience – clear smell

  • Clairgustance – clear taste

These "clairs" are simply spiritual senses that awaken in us and allow us to interact with unseen energies, our ancestors, angels, Source, and the multidimensional self. They are not just labels - they are experiences. They often accompany, or trigger, deep emotional release through tears.

To cry is to cleanse, to reconnect, to return to Source.

If you ever feel the tears welling up during a quiet moment, during breathwork, or when you feel something greater than yourself. Let them flow. Your soul is speaking. Your body is healing. Your consciousness is expanding.

Tears are liquid light.
They are divine.
Let them fall like sacred rain.

With love and blessings,
Gregory
