From the depths of my heart and soul, I offer this truth.  Not as a theory, but as a living, breathing testament of my own life. I lived it. I survived it. I continue to rise from it.

I was just a child when I faced the unimaginable. A brain tumor. Surgery. Then the radiation day after day. I can still feel the hum of the machines, the sterile air, the weight of fear in every breath. I lost my hair, but what I truly lost was innocence. And yet, something greater was born.  A knowing far deeper than what any medical chart could explain. I was cracked open so my soul could speak.

My mother.  She, too, was taken by cancer. I watched her suffer, and I watched her strength. She went through radiation just like I did. But I always wondered, did that treatment bring healing or did it dim her light that wanted to shine through her body from the inside out?

​

And then there was my father.

​

He went to the Veterans Administration hospital, and all they gave him were pills.  More pills, and then more pills. By the end of it, he was taking over thirty pills a day. There were insulin needles, prescriptions stacked in the closet, pill bottles everywhere. The system buried him under medications.  Trying to treat symptoms, but stealing the man he once was. I watched him change. He became slower, less joyful, less himself.

​

And then one day, he just stopped.

​

He stopped taking all of it.  All that stuff that was supposed to help him never really did. And you know what? He was fine. In fact, he was happier. More present. More alive than he had been in years. That moment changed something in me forever.

​

I am not saying to stop your medication. That is a personal decision, and one that must be made with care, guidance, and wisdom. But what I am saying is this: your body knows how to heal. You were made to heal. And so much of our suffering begins when we stop listening to the body and start trusting systems that profit from our pain.

​

So many around me have been lost to the same system. A system that calls itself “care,” but so often blocks the very light needed for true healing. A system that looks only at the body and not the energy within. It cuts, burns, and numbs. But it rarely asks: What is your soul trying to say through this illness? What energy is trapped, unheard, unseen?

​

I have spent decades understanding this via observation and living through the medical establishment.  And feeling and seeing the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual damage from all I knew dying and through my own battle for survival. I have cried the pain out. I have spoken to my cells, to my heart, to the trapped memories that no machine could ever detect.

​

And through it all, I found my way back.  Not by going further into the system, but by going deeper into myself.

​

I learned to feel again.  Not with my mind, but with my body and soul. I felt my own energy returning. I felt which parts of me were still frozen from trauma. I learned how to feel crystals, not just hold them. I learned to sense when a vibration was mine and when it belonged to someone else. And I learned the hardest lesson of all, for empaths and healers alike, to take care of myself first.

​

Because the truth is: you cannot heal if you are disconnected from yourself. No pill will reconnect you. No scan will show your soul. That kind of healing comes from within. From being brave enough to feel. From being honest enough to cry. From being loving enough to forgive. From being strong enough to say no to what numbs you and yes to what awakens you.

​

I speak this now not as a victim, but as a soul who remembers. I remember who I am. I remember why I came. I remember that true healing is not in suppressing symptoms.  It is in embracing the soul’s call to evolve.

​

And I offer this to you: If you have walked through pain, if you have lost someone to this system, if you are ready to remember how to feel, I walk with you.

​

We are not broken. We are awakening.

​
