My Tai Chi (Qi) & Qi Gong Experiences Tied to my New Taoist Teachings:

My journey into the ancient practices of Tai Chi and Qi Gong began in a small city square in China. One early morning, around 6:00 a.m., I stood by my hotel room window, long before our tour bus was scheduled to leave. I noticed the town’s central fountain and felt a strong pull to go outside. I left the hotel, my bald head from radiation covered by a hat, and walked toward the square.

There, I witnessed something extraordinary. Elders were moving gracefully around the fountain, practicing Tai Chi in the morning stillness. One man—who a kind Chinese lady told me was 92 years old—had a paddle with a tennis ball on a string and played with it each morning to maintain his energy and focus. I stood in awe.

The woman noticed my wonder and asked if I wanted to learn. I said yes, but explained I had to leave soon to return to the hotel before the bus departed. She told me to come back the next day. I agreed. When I returned to the bus, they were nearly ready to leave without me and were wondering where I had gone. But in my heart, what I had experienced at the fountain felt far more important than the tour.

The next morning, I returned. The same woman greeted me and shared that she and her husband worked for the government in the building next to the fountain. I tried some Tai Chi movements with them, but again had to leave to catch the bus. That day, we traveled to a new city, and I never saw the woman or the elderly man with the paddle and tennis ball again. But the memory stayed with me forever.

Back home in Texas, I was inspired to find a small Chinese Tai Chi group and joined them. My teacher was Master Dew. Under his guidance, I began learning Tai Chi Chuan. When that group disbanded, I found another teacher—Master Ho and his wife. With them, I began learning the 108 Tai Chi Chuan movements and deepened my practice alongside others in the group.

Two to three years later, I was spiritually guided to move to Arizona to anchor my light. There, I found a local Tai Chi group, but something did not feel quite aligned. Later, I traveled to North Carolina to attend a class with another Sifu, but the distance was too great to continue. After that, I practiced on my own at home, using the movements and energies I had learned over the years.

Then, in April 2025, as I began consciously embodying my Light Body, a new dimension opened in my understanding of Qi Gong. I was introduced to the Taoist teachings of the Three Treasures: Jing, Qi, and Shen, which represent the essential energies of the body, life-force, and spirit. These following teachings became a new cornerstone in my spiritual transformation toolbox.

  • Jing: This is the essence stored in the kidneys and sexual organs; and is our foundational life-force energy.  The seed of vitality, fertility, and regeneration. I learned that Jing must be conserved and refined, not depleted, and that modern life often burns through this precious resource.

  • Qi: This is our energy in motion.  It is cultivated through breath, movement, and intention.  And it is obtained through Qi Gong and Tai Chi movements, which move Qi through the meridians to nourish all systems.

  • Shen: This is our spirit or consciousness.  The radiance of the soul.  The light that shines from our eyes and being. Shen is nurtured by stillness, meditation, love, and alignment with the Tao.

Together, these Three Treasures form the sacred alchemy of Taoist transformation. As I began deepening my practices, I realized that much of my work now is about refining Jing into Qi, and Qi into Shen.  The pathway of the immortal light body, as the Taoists call it.

I was first guided to the Taoist wisdom through Wayne Dyer, who was one of my earliest spiritual teachers. While recovering from chemotherapy in 1990, I watched his series on PBS where he introduced the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu. Now, back then I was not as knowledgeable about the Tao as I am now.  However, his teachings planted a seed that would take decades to bloom.

Now, as I embody my Light Body.  I now see the Tao Te Ching not just as poetic wisdom, but as an energetic manual for returning to the back to non-resistance, humility, simplicity, and flowing with the rhythms of nature.

As part of this journey, I am currently studying Taoist sexual alchemy and internal cultivation practices.  To thus transmute the sexual energy (Jing) into light and consciousness (Shen) rather than losing it through unconscious release. I now understand why ancient masters spoke of celibacy not as repression, but as preservation. This discipline is not about denial, but devotion—to becoming a vessel of pure light.

I am learning how to circulate Jing through the Microcosmic Orbit.  And to direct it into my organs and energy centers.  These sacred sexual teachings, once hidden in secrecy, are now returning to help us become light bodies be anchored into the Earth and simultaneously be  connected to Source.

I continue attending monthly sessions with my Qi Gong Master in England, where his wife channels Ascended Master Tara to me. These gatherings offer guidance as I now work through my foundation, Quantum Meadows®, to help birth the New Earth and support others in awakening their divine potential.

Through each experience, teacher, and revelation, Tai Chi and Qi Gong have become far more than exercises. They are sacred tools for healing, grounding, transformation, and ascension. I walk this path now with reverence, devotion, and deep gratitude.

I bow to all my teachers—seen and unseen.
To Wayne Dyer, for being the first spark.
To the ancient Tao, for its invisible yet eternal way.
To the masters of light, for guiding me home.

And to the sacred breath, the sacred essence, and the sacred spirit within me now rising like the dawn.
